The Co-creation Manuals – edition for teachers and edition for students are now available for download

Within the context of the BePart project, the partnership concluded the two Co-creation Manuals that include an edition for teachers and an edition for students. The Spanish partner Platoniq was the leader of the development of both manuals, that are now available for download in 5 languages (EN, PT, ES, LV, GR), through the BePart website.

The Co-creation Manual – edition for teachers comprises a strategic document addressed to teachers, allowing them to successfully support their students in the implementation of the Models of Youth Participation (MYP) action plan in their schools. The manual is organized in eight chapters. An introductory chapter presents the structure of the manual. The second chapter presents the BePart project and its objectives. The third chapter explores the main building blocks of the BePart approach. The fourth chapter provides useful tips and indications to teachers to facilitate a participation process that is as impactful and inclusive as possible. The fifth chapter provides indications for teachers to select, test and implement a MYP in their schools. The sixth chapter is dedicated to the BePart project communication channels and tools. The seventh chapter is dedicated to monitoring and assessment. Lastly, the eighth chapter presents the bibliography, providing multiple sources to enable teachers to continue their readings and research.

The Co-creation Manual – edition for students provides to students the tools and tips to implement real participatory processes in their schools, allowing them to be the protagonists of change. The manual is organized in six chapters. The first chapter presents the key-concepts behind the BePart methodology. The second chapter presents the actors involved in the school. The third chapter presents the steps of the process of implementing. Within the fourth chapter, different tips to select a MYP are provided. The fifth chapter explores safe spaces, particularly the characteristics that make a space safe enough for participation. The seventh and final chapter addresses real participation.
